Data Source: CMS Open Payments

All payment data displayed on DoctorPharmaData comes from the CMS Open Payments database, maintained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This database was established under the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (Section 6002 of the Affordable Care Act).

The Sunshine Act requires drug and medical device manufacturers and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) to report the following types of payments and transfers of value to physicians and teaching hospitals:
